Here is a bullet point list of the rules for the Material Girls Design Contest sponsored by Swank Lighting.

1) Design a room for your favorite TV character.  Character can be from a current TV show or old TV show.

2) You must use a pair or single of Swank Lighting Lamps.  Photo can be lifted from www.swanklighting.com

3) Present your design in design board format.  Can be photo/scanned in image of actual board or one created on the computer.  Any fabric/paint samples, magazine/catalog cut outs, furniture and accessory photos, or hand/computer renderings can be used on your board to convey your chosen room.

4) Write a description of your design including the name and description of your character and a list of products/design elements specified.  Provide links to product web sites if possible. (not required)

5) A brief description of how your design addresses the needs of the character based on your interpretation of their personality.

6) By submitting an entry, you agree to allow Swank Lighting and or Material Girls Blog to publish your entry whether it is a finalist or not.
