A.V.E.M. Pulegoso Flame Shaped Winged Murano Lamps in Gold
These gorgeous gold pulegoso Murano lamps were hand blown in the 1950's. The flame-shaped glass bodies have applied glass wings which ascend vertically in a swirled pattern. There are trapped air bubbles throughout. The glass between the applied wings is creamy gold, while the wings themselves are a dark amber gold. The glass is perfect with no cracks, chips, scratches, or blips. Original importer's labels still attached.
The lamps stand 32 1/4 inches to the top of the socket. The glass is 21 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches at the widest point. The solid wood bases have been stained a rich walnut brown with a high glass clear lacquer applied. They are 5 inches square.
