These opaline Murano lamps were blown by Seguso in the 1950's. They are a fabulous peach caramel color - if you have ever seen a peach cobbler fresh from the oven with the syrupy peach/butter/caramel sauce bubbling around the edges, you know the color I am looking at. It's a delicious color. Because of the opaline, the color changes according to the surrounding light. When the light shines on the glass, they really glow. |
