Barovier & Toso - Raspberry and Cream Murano Lamps on Stepped Gold Leaf

This stunning pair of vintage Barovier & Toso Murano lamps date from the 1950's. They're a rich, deep raspberry at the bottom with a creamy white at the top, and loads of 24 kt. gold dust sprinkled throughout. The solid wood bases have been gold leafed. This pair is simply elegant.

The lamps have been completely rebuilt using solid brass hardware. They measure 29 1/2 inches to the socket top. As shown, the top of shade is 35 inches high. Lampshades are for display only and not available for sale.

Seguso Monumental Peach Caramel Opaline Murano Lamps on Italian Alabaster

These opaline Murano lamps were blown by Seguso in the 1950's. They are a fabulous peach caramel color - if you have ever seen a peach cobbler fresh from the oven with the syrupy peach/butter/caramel sauce bubbling around the edges, you know the color I am looking at. It's a delicious color. Because of the opaline, the color changes according to the surrounding light. When the light shines on the glass, they really glow.
