Jewel Encrusted Monumental Murano Lamps in Dijon

Here are the most spectacular Murano lamps we have, in a wonderful DIJON color. It appears that glass jewels were rolled into the molten glass at such a high temperature that they themselves melted and distorted. There is also some sort of precious metal rolled onto the glass - our best guess is either silver or platinum.

The bases are pure Italian alabaster. Each lamps measure nearly 34 inches tall to the socket top. As shown, the top of shade is 40 inches high. Lampshades are for display only and not available for sale.

The Marbro Lamp Company - Monumental Lamp in Creme Brulee

The Marbro Lamp Company sold a selection of lamps with glass hand blown in Sweden. There are not many available fifty years later, especially one in such perfect condition. This lamp is so large and sculptural, it stands well on its own - a pair would be superfluous. The color is a very soft CREME BRULEE.

We show this lamp as it was originally, but totally rebuilt. It measures 41 inches to the top of the double cluster socket. As shown, the top of shade is 43 inches high. Lampshade is for display only and not available for sale.

This Canary Yellow Barovier & Toso Murano lamp is filled with controlled bubbles and 24 karat gold. Check out the incredible pattern of gold bubbles in the close up photo - it's hard to believe this glass was hand made.  Original importer's label and blower's paper inventory label still attached.

The lamp stands 26.5 inches to the socket top - the two glass pieces combined are 19 inches tall.  As shown, the top of the shade is 32 inches high.  Lampshade is for display only and not available for sale.

Barovier & Toso - Orange Murano Lamps in Peacock Feather Pattern

We found only one pair of these Murano lamps - we have never seen another like them. They are by Barovier & Toso and from the 1950's. The color is a wonderful, soft orange/yellow - somewhere between orange juice and butternut squash. It's a very seductive color - and the huge controlled bubbles and 24 karat gold dust in the peacock pattern make these lamps spectabulous. I think I just created that word, but it fits.

Seguso Lemon Yellow Opaline Murano Lamps on Marble

These lemon yellow opaline Murano lamps were blown by Seguso in the 1950's. They are the color of a lemon meringue pie - that wonderful sweet and tart color that, because of the opaline, gets more intense when the sunlight hits it.

The lamps stand 34 1/2 inches to the socket top. The glass is mounted on vintage Italian marble pedestal bases. The hardware is all new and all brass with a brushed finish, and the glass is perfect with no blips, blisters, or cracks.
